LOOKING FORWARD.. NO! GOING FORWARD.

Doing this Digital Portfolio has actually made me reflect on my work from this year and made me realize that the year is finally over and it’s time to move on and of course finish strong. Especially because I started slacking off in the middle of the school year. As always, for next year I expect myself to be on top of things and just to the best that I can, the best that I am. In the beginning of the year I started real strong ranking 4th in class and as the year went by I dropped to 6th. . This always happens but not to the point where I get C’s. I was held back by my own motivation to keep succeeding. I got tired and almost stopped caring.

Next year, I’m looking forward to next year. The beginning of the year is always the best because you get to start over fresh. Everything around you feels fresh and so are the grades. I’m also excited to know if I’ll be taking that trip to Israel! I had thought about joining the volleyball team but thought it twice and I think I’ll stick to tennis. Badminton next year will be at a whole different level, especially with it being my third school year on the team 2nd as captain plus we’ll be getting NEW & BETTER UNIFORMS!!!! I also hope to participate in next year’s Latino pride day. Hopefully we have one. Friends, well they’re always there but then again they’re not always there. I really hope that next year we have that reading contest that ( I and I think ) nobody ever knew about because this coming year as well as in the summer I'm going to be reading as much or more than this year!

During the summer I'll be reading 2 Anne Rice chronicles and they're about vanpires!! And maybe Vinager Hill which Mr.E will let me borrow and anything else I can get my hands on. I LOVE READING AND NO BODY WILL EVER STOP ME!! =) ... I'm going to miss Ms.Koval. Her name started with a "K" and she was a great librarian, with so much energy. People seemed to be even more attracted to the library this year. There seemed to be more things to do. It won't be the same without her and her smiles and love.=( Ok so as far as writing goes I'm supposed to write in a journal during my stay in Mali. I'll maybe feel inspired by all the real nature around me and write a couple poems.

There we many learning experiences this year that I enjoyed, which did include some of the projects that we did in English, like for example, the Digital Story and Day of The Dead Assignment as well as the making of this portfolio even though I have yet to get my Digital Story on it. I enjoyed getting so much out of my Biology class which was mostly because I asked questions and really tried to understand it. This year was a really different for me and I’m sure it was the same for the rest of the people here. We learned, hopefully, we learned, from mistakes, and we learned from others. And we got through it all in one piece. It was all one big adventure. With all the pictures implanted in my brain I will probably make a movie out of them. Once again … THANK YOU MR.E. It was a wonderful year, full of so many different experiences that I’m sure your following classes will enjoy. =)
